'Raised by Wolves' is set in a post-apocalyptic world where during a war between atheists and believers, humanity has been destroyed by androids called Necromancers. Two androids with 12 human embryos were sent by atheists to a faraway planet, Kepler 22b, with a mission of raise a group of children to save humanity and create a new civilization, based on science and without religion.
Mother and Father are two androids in silver latex suits. They are atheists, pacifists and technocrats, in opposition to the deployment of beliefs of humans who worship a deity called Sol. Mother, the lead character of the story, played by excellent Amanda Collin, is android and necromancer. It’s truly artistic performance with sensual, dangerous and violent body language that really makes you wonder if she's a real replicant.

'Raised by Wolves' definitely manages to bring together everything a fan of science fiction can hope for. Ridley Scott directed the first two episodes and delegated another three to his son Luke. We can notice elements of others Scott’s movies like 'Blade runner,' 'Prometheus' and 'Alien: Covenant'. All of them are focused on dilemmas between androids and humans.
First ten episodes seems like an appetizer of a world that is still growing and that explodes in last episode, opening many possibilities of new characters, unknown beings and a whole planet to explore. ‘Raised by Wolves’ is definitely one of the greatest surprises of the year.
